Smarter posting in Firefox
I’m trying to write a little every day. Using WordPress from Firefox makes this less hard. My tips:
Use Firefox’s bookmark keywords. I hate having to navigate to my WordPress “Write Post” page when I want to write. So I bookmarked the page. Then I gave it the keyword, “w.” Now when I want to post, I jump to the location bar, type “w” + ENTER, and I’m blogging.
Use the spellchecker extension for Firefox called Spellbound. Sure, there’s that WordPress plug-in, but Spellbound’s so easy to install, provides a “Check Spelling” selection in your context menu, and checks any textbox in Firefox, not just the WordPress ones. Make sure your posts are clean before you hit “Publish.” Your readers will thank you.
